SPANNING THE WAITEMATA.— A public meeting will be held this evening under the auspices of the Auckland Harbour Bridge Association, to hear the speakers who recently addressed a Select Committee of the House of Representatives on this subject. So that they may have something “to go upon,” we have constructed the bridge for them—photographically. Picture shows a trans-harbour bridge extending from the foot of New Street to the Northcote Wharf. The cost of erecting this structure, we may add, was well under a million pounds!
