HARPER -HUDSON

The Church of the Holy Sepulchre was chosen for the wedding last evening of Vera, the eldest daughter of Air. and Airs. C. Hudson, of Campbell Road, One Tree Hill, to Air. Janies Harper, of Auckland, formerly of London. The service, at which the bride was given away ,by her father, was conducted by the Rev. Gordon Bell. The bridegroom was attended by All*. S. Hudson as best man and Air. F. Cornwall as groomsman. The bridal gown was a dainty thing of ivory crepe mariette, with .a skirt of flaring flounces delicately embroidered with sprays of pale shaded flowers. An exquisite veil of Limerick lace was held in place with a chaplet of orange blossoms and silver rosebuds, and the bride carried a bt;autiful sheaf of white carnations. Aliss Ida Foote and Aliss Phyllis Hudson were two attractive attendants. The former wore a frock of crocus mauve georgette with frilled side panels and a mauve crinoline picture hat, and the latter a frock of absinthe green georgette fashioned 'on the same lines, with a beige crinoline hat. Their bouquets were of pink and mauve carnations and stocks. Little Aliss /Muriel Hudson was flower girl, and wore a frock of japonica pink georgette with a tiered skirt lightly embroidered with pale blue flowers. Her pink straw bonnet was tied under the chin with pink satin ribbon and she carried a posy of pink and blue flowers.
