BEACHLANDS IS WELL WORTH A VISIT to see the numerous pretty beaches and enjoy the swimming. There are two routes, the most convenient for Auckland motorists being through Panmure, Howick and Whitford. At Whitford, turn to the left (Maraetai sign) and after some distance the turn off to Beachlands is marked. Tea Kiosk there, and store. Hot water available. About 30 miles from Auckland.
