THIEVES STEAL ELECTRIC URN | (From Our Oxon Correspondent) WIRI, To-day. ! A particularly mean theft was per- | petrated at the Wirl public hall during j the latter part of last week, when a three-gallon electric urn. valued at £l3* the property of the Wiri Social Club, was removed. . The theft was discovered when the members of the committee adjourned to prepare supper at a recent funciVn. The guests of the evening were compelled to partake of cold drinks. The lid of the urn had been branded by members of the club, and this part of the equipment was left behind br the thieves.
