EXCURSION TO TAURANGA

(Front Our Own Correspondent) TAURANGA, Monday. The first week-end excursion train from Auckland arrived here on Saturday evening, with 150 excursionists. On Sunday the greater number of the visitors went over to the Mount and enjoyed surf-bathing and recreation on the beautiful, hard, sandy beaches. The return train left on Sunday at 3.50 p.m. All seemed delighted with their outing. Mr. Lovell, passenger manager, stated the department was satisfied with the results, and that another excursion would be arranged about the end of January.
