Y.M.C.A. DIRECTORS MEET
MORE PUBLICITY WANTED Lust evening Mr. C. 11. Furness presided over the monthly meeting of the Board of Directors of the Young Men’s Christian Association. Mr. W. R. Ellingham welcomed Mr. Furness on behalf of the directors. The committees of the association presented their reports, pointing out that more publicity was needed. Many of the public did not know how much work the association was really doing, particularly in the religious section of its activities. The annual budget was then passed and the following chairmen of committees elected for the year:— Finance. Mr. W. R. Ellingham; house department. Mr. B. B. Hooper: boys’ work, Mr. H. G. Fountain: religious work, Air. C. H. Furness; Gymnasium Committee, Air. E. E. Kitchener: Community Committee. Mr. C. J. Tunks; social work. Mr. Gordon Smith; Athletic Committee, Air. A. T. Dow: young men’s division. Air. E. E. Kitchener; Staff Committee, Air. \V. J. Holds - worth.
