YOUTH SHOT IN HAND
ACCIDENT ON MT. EGMONT Press Association NEW PLYMOUTH, Monday. In a shooting accident on Saturday T. R. List, aged 19 years, son of Mr. and Mrs. T. C. List, received severe injuries to his right hand. The youth was goat-shooting in the bush on the northern slopes of Mount Egmont. He was climbing down a bluff when he dropped his rifle which went off. the bullet entering his right hand. He was taken to hospital.
