A.V average volume of business was put through on Change during the past 24 hours. At the mid-day call the call-over was little more than a formality, interest, in the annual meeting taking precedence.

It is interesting to remember that these shares were
selling at 44a Hid at the corresponding date of last year.
» The miscellaneous section is quiet. Wilsons Cements are very firm, a small parcel being dealt with at the morning call at 41s. Whittome Stevensons are neglected, sellers dropping to 45s 9d without finding support.
