RIFLE SHOOTING

THE AKARANA CLUB The second shoot of the Akarana Rifle Club’s second trophy series tor trophies presented by Sir F. Lang, Mr. A. E. Hughes, and Mr, A. G. Devor*. over the ranges of 300 yards and 50« yards, was fired at the Penrose rifle range on Saturday afternoon. The meeting was favoured with a good attendance of members, and some good scores were registered. Trophy points were won by the three top men in each section. Silver spoons were won by Riflemen J. R.
