SOLID SCORING IN REP. MATCH AT HAMILTON

(From Our Oiui Correspondent) HAMILTON, Sunday. There was some solid batting in the cup match between Waipa and Hamilton at Seddon Park yesterday. Waipa batted first, and knocked up 236 for nine wickets and declared. Shepherd made 63 not out, Winter 61, Tarr 33 and Barnett 24. The most successful Hamilton bowlers were Pomeroy, three fox' 27. and Taylor, for 28. Hamilton replied with a fast 213 for seven wickets. Hawke made 90, S. Badeley 41 and Sheet 26. Winter, two for 20, was the most successful bowler.
