(From Our Own Correspondent) Miss Fay Ballin, of Christchurch, is visiting her aunt, Mrs. H. Caro, in River Road. Mrs. J. McMiken, of Whakatane, is the guest of the Misses McMiken, in Claudelands. Last Saturday evening Miss Hazel Cooper, who has since become Mrs. S. W. Morrison, was the guest of honour at a large and enthusiastic party in the Tatuanui Hall. As a proof of her great popularity she was asked to receive a beautiful travelling rug and well-appointed suit-case from her many friends. She and her husband will be leaving shortly for their home in Ballymoney, Ireland. * * # BRIDGE IN TE AROIIA The women of the Te Aroha Bridge Club had their final evening for the year on Tuesday night. The hostesses were Miss Ford and Miss Frood. Mrs. Kendrick made the highest score for the evening. The one to secure most points during the season was Mrs. Snedden. Among the players present were: Mrs. Carroll, Mrs. Plunger, Mrs. Wykes, Mrs. Kenrick, Mrs. Dempster, Mrs. Frear, Mrs. Clarke, Mrs. Vickes, Mrs. McGirr, Mrs. Burton, Mrs. Law, Mrs. Wright, Mrs., G.
