CHILD KILLED BY LORRY
OPENING OF INQUEST f Special to THE SUNJ PUKEKOHE, To-day. An inquest concerning the death of the child Laurence Pomery, who was killed in the main street at Pukekohe on Friday through being run over by a motor-lorry, was opened on Saturday by the district coroner, Mr. C. K. Lawrie. The father of the child said he was having lunch in a nearby shop when he was informed the accident had happened. The child had been taken into another shop, and a doctor was called immediately. However, the child was then dead. The inquest was adjourned sine die.
