“NIGHT BRIDE” AT BRITANNIA
One o ftlie most excitingly humorous situations which are pictured in “The Night Bride,” starring Marie Prevost, which is now at the Britannia Theatre, is contained in the anticipated wedding ceremony between Miss Prevost and the groom. Everything is in readiness for the nuptials, when Marie discovers the man she is to marry is holding a rather too confidential chat with one of the bridesmaids. And, contrary to the accepted custom, Marie does not tear tier hair —nor the hair of the bridesmaid- — nor create a scene, but senses a grand opportunity to escape from a marriage which her father is engineering. And so, as she expressed it, “let’s have a divorce before the wedding.” Needless to say, this bright comedy is a great success from first to last. “The Leopard an exciting drama of murders and circus life, is the second feature. Jacqueline Logan has the leading role.
