“THE LEOPARD LADY” AT ROYAL

The colourful life of circus performers, with murders and mysteries to provide the thrills, is the background of the picture, “The Leopard Lady,” to be shown this evening at the Royal Theatre,. Kingsland. Jacqueline Logan has the leading feminine role. In the story Miss Logan is an animal trainer, known as the "Leopard Lady.” She has joined a circus in Austria in an effort to solve the mystery of several murders presumably committed by an old lady, but actually by an ape owned by a Cossack rider, played by Alan Hale. When Paula (Miss Logan) discovers the assassin, she is loth to expose him as he had once saved her life. “Heart to Heart,” an amusing comedy of a small American town, starring Mary Astor and Lloyd Hughes, will also be shown.
