CAMBRIDGE DEVELOPMENTS £1,195.000 TO BE SPENT (Australia*, and N.Z. Press Association) (United ServiceJ LONDON, Thursday. In order to enable the Cambridge University authorities to accept the Rockefeller Foundation’s promised Srant of £700,000 toward the development of agriculture, biology and physics, also to build a new university library, the British Government has now Offered £50,000 from the public funds. The Umpire Marketing Board bas also promised £ 50,000. The total cost of the university’s developments will bo £1,195.000. It is Provided with £350.000. sc that a further sum of £1*5,000 is needed to enable it to acauire the Rockefeller •rant. .
