Two delightful pictures make up the ‘new programme to be shown at the Lyric to-morrow, “The Sky Rocket and “Powder My Back.” “The Sky Rocket” is a story of a. girl’s meteoric rise to fame as a film star, and her equally rapid fall. Scenes of Hollywood have been made as authentic as possible and the picture, besides providing excellent entertainment. is a warning to young girls of the pitfalls and dangers of such a life. A capable cast has been secured for the picture, including Peggy Hopkins Joyce, Clive Brook and Sammy Cohen.
