PT. CHEVALIER BATHS
ORIGINAL SITE FAVOURED That tho erection of baths at Point Chevalier on the site proposed by Dixieland, Limited, would seriously impair tho utility of the beach, and would materially detract from its appearance, is the opinion of the Auckland Harbour Board. During a recent discussion of the proposal in committee the board decided that if it were considered advisable to erect baths on the beach, the most suitable site was that originallyproposed, in front of the City Council’s property. This recommendation has been forwarded to tho Marine Department.
