FIRE DAMAGES ELLERSLIE CHURCH—A fire broke out early last evening in Christ Church, Ellerslie, which possesses some of the finest stainedglass windows in Auckland. A splendid save was effected by the local volunteer fire brigade, and the valuable windows were practically undamaged.
