DIXIELAND CABARET
The usual mid-week carnival night will be held at Dixieland Cabaret this evening, with dancing from b 30 p.m. to midnight to music by the Dixieland Famous Jazz Band. The ballroom has recently been completely renovated, and a special feature has been made of harmonising the subdued lighting effects with the colourful decorations. *
Playing through the* hottest weeks of the New York summer, “White Shadows in the South Seas” has on comparison of takings proven a better drawing card than even the immortal “Ben-Hur," which played largely throughout the winter months. uii latest advice this production was in its sixth capacity week at this house, and was also playing to amazing business in other parts of the Unit J States.
