“THE MAGNIFICENT FLIRT” A carefree mother, a lovely daughter and a bachelor count, against a background ox smart French society, form the main characters in the picture “The Magnificent Flirt," to be shown this evening at the Prince Edward Th eatr e. The beautiful actress, Florence Vidor, has the principal role, that of Madame Laverne. Albert Conti is seen as the suave, polished bachelor, and Loretta Young has the role of Denise Laverne. “The Magnificent Flirt" is a story of modern, gay. laughing Paris, set in the homes of the wealthy and in the famous cafes and cabarets. The subtleties of this clever French farce are admirably suited to the accomplished talents of Miss Vidor. “The Cowboy Kid." a thrilling Western story starring Rex Bell, will also be shown. The story of Emil Jammings’ Paramount production, “The Patriot,” is based on actual incidents in the life of the mad Czar, Paul I. of Russia, leading up to his subsequent assassination. Lewis Stone plays the part of Pahlen. the Minister of War.
