CHINESE ROBBED
SHACK BROKEN INTO A shack at Mangere Bridge belonging to a Chinese gardener, Chen Yen. was broken into yesterday afternoon and £2 in cash and an electric torch were stolen Entrance had been gained by breaking a window. The shack had been thoroughly ransacked. It is thought to have been the work of a gang of youths.
