REAR-LIGHT TAKEN
THIEF ALSO STEALS NUMBER PLATE Staff-Captain .V. E. Holmes, of the Salvation Army, was taking the chair at a meeting in the Edendale Army Hall last evening, a thief removed the rear number-plate, reflector and tail light from his car, which was drawn up outside. no * un tU he was driving home tnat Mr. Holmes discovered his loss, as a policeman pulled him up and pointed out certain deficiencies in the lighting system. He then discovered that the mer, in his hurry to decamp, had torn no reflector from the mudguard, leaving a large, jagged hole in its place, me missing ptate is number 7985.
