AFTER THE FIGHT
QEEN after the fight Mclnnes said he had not delivered a foul blow. It was a short right punch to the stomach that had put Harms down. **l was hit low three or four different times,” said Harms. “I want to fight him again—on Saturday or any other day.” Jack Warner, manager of Harms, said the referee admitted he had not seen the blow. The doctor had said he could find no mark, and therefore allowed that there had been no low blow. Warner claimed that Harms’s guard was dented — proof positive that the blow had been foul. Speaking to the writer, two men- well-known in the boxing world, said that they had seen Mclnnes hit low in the previous round, but neither saw the blow which ended the fight, and which Harms claimed was foul.
