MRS. CAROLINE SEEGNER Mrs. Caroline E. Seegner, who died at her home In St- Stephen's Avenue, Parnell, yesterday, at the age of 81. was the widow of the late Mr. Carl Seegner, Consul for Germany in Auckland from 1892 until the outbreak of the war. Born in England, Mrs. Seegner came to New Zealand with her husband in 1884, and had lived practically evei since in ParneU. Her husband predeceased her in 1920, and there are no children. __ MR. Mr. James Patterson Irvine has died at Greymouth at the age of 63. He was a member of the Grey County Council, the Hospital Board, and a director of the Greymouth “Evening Star.”
