MATCHES AT NEW LYNN A series of matches promoted by the New Lynn Gun Club were staged at the club's grounds on Saturday. The meeting was favoured with a large attendance. Details are as follow: — No. 1 shoot, seven birds, for Murrell Cup.—F. Hazard (15yds) and M. Delich (13yds), tied with possible. No. 2 shoot, 10 birds, for Mr. F. C. McGeehan’s trophy: G. N. Barrett (11yds), possible. F. Hazard (16yds), C. E. Hodge (20yds), W. Turner (14yds), L. Ramsay (12yds), B. Knight (15yds), G. Stevenson (16yds), tied for second place with nine birds each. No. 3 shoot, 10 birds, novice match, for Mr. C. E. Hodge’s trophy: Turner (13yds), possible. W. Macredie (11yds), F. C. McGeehan (12yds), M. Delich (14yds), G. Stevenson (17yds), tied for second place with nine birds each. The next shoot will be held on December 15.
