THE batsmen were more at borne in A.C.A. cricket on Saturday, a plentiful crop of scores signalising an all round improvement in batting. Bowley, the Susses professional player-coach, easily topped the individual aggregate with 192, and S. G. Smith, nearing his 48th birthday, was responsible for one of the finest all-round performances of his career.
