COASTAL MOVEMENTS— The Richardson steamer Pakura arrived at Auckland yesterday from the East Coast. At two o'clock this after-, noon she was to sail again for East Coast bays, Napier, and Wairoa. The Awahou, which arrived at Auckland yesterday from the coast, berthed at King’s Wharf to load. At 5 p.m. tomorrow she is scheduled to leave for Hicks Bay, Tokomaru Bay, and Gisborne. The Kaituna sailed from Westport at 1 a.m. yesterday for Auckland. After discharging her cargo here, she lays up for annual overhaul and survey. The AVaipiata sails from Bluff tomorrow for Dunedin, Oamaru, Lyttelton, Wellington, and Auckland. The Waimea is loading at Prince’s Wharf. At four o’clock to-morrow afternoon she is to sail for Gisborne and Napier. The Kartigi is to shift from King’s Wharf to Western Wharf to-morrow to continue discharging. It is doubtful if she can be dispatched on Wednesday next for Westport, Greymouth, Launceston, and Melbourne. The Kurow sails from Wellington at six o’clock this evening for Auckland. She berths at Prince’s Wharf on arrival, and after discharge proceeds to Wellington, Lyttelton, Dunedin, and Bluff. The Waipu sails /at five o’clock this evening for Coromandel and Colville. She is due back again at 5 p.m. tomorrow. The Apanui sailsl at half-past six this evening for Mercury Bay, Tairua, and Whangamata. She is due back again at 4 a.m. on Thursday next. The Paroto sails at 4 p.m. to-day for Kerepeehi. The Clansman is to leave at four o’clock this afternoon for Russell, Opua, Whangaroa, and Mangonui./ The vessel is due back again at half-past seven on Friday morning. The Ngapuhi, sailing at 6.30 p.m. today for Tauranga returns again at 7.30 a.m. 'em Wednesday next. The Tulioe sails at 4 p.m. to-day for Kerikeri. The Otimai is to be dispatched from Auckland at four o’clock this afternoon for Kutarere and Opotiki. The Kawau sailed early this afternoon for Kawau, Leigh, and Mangawai. She returns again at 7.30 p.m. to-morrow. The Rangitoto, "which returned from Thames early this afternoon, is to be dispatched again for the same port at 8.30 a.m. on Wednesday. The Taniwha is due at half-past eight this evening from Paeroa. She sails again at 4.30 p.m. to-morrow for the same port. The Omana returns from Silverdale at half-past, three this afternoon, and sails again at 4 p.m. to-morrow for Warkworth. The Claymore is due at half-past eight to-morrow morning from Whangarei. At 10.30 p.m. the same day she sails on the return trip.

Bebee, second engineer of the Waitemata, has been granted holiday leave, his place being taken by Mr. J. K. Vigers. SOMERSET SAILS. The.. Federal Bine's steamer Somerset, which has been discharging cargo from England at Queen’s Wharf, left for Wellington on Saturday afternoon to continue discharge. She arrived at the capital this morning. KAITANGATA SAILED.—The Union Company’s steamer Kaitangata, which berthed on Saturday morning from her moorings in the stream, sailed on Saturday evening for Greymouth, where she will load for Wellington. GLENEDEN FOR MAKATEA. The steamer Gleneden, which went into dock on Friday after discharging sugar at Chelsea, came out of dock on Saturday afternoon and sailed direct for Makatea Island, where she will load phosphates for Newcastle. POOLTA FOR WELLINGTON.—The Union Company advise that the Poolta was to leave Clarence River on Saturday and Port Stephens to-day for Newcastle to complete loading for Lyttelton, Wellington and Napier. MATAROA LEAVING WELLINGTON. —The Shaw, Savill and Albion liner Mataroa, which left Auckland last Wednesday to complete loading Homeward cargo at Wellington, is to leave that port this evening with passengers, mail and cargo for Southampton and London. MANUKA AT WELLINGTON.—An arrival at Wellingon at half-past nine yesterday morning was the U.S.S. Co.’s steamer Manuka from Melbourne. The vessel is announced to sail at 4 p.m. tomorrow for Melbourne again, via Lyttelton and Dunedin. TAHITI AT WELLINGTON. Eli route from Sydney to San Francisco, the Union Company’s R.M.S. Tahiti arrived in the stream at Wellington at six o'clock this morning, and berthed at 9 a.m. She is announced to sail again at three o’clock to-morrow afernoon for San Francisco, via ports. EASTMOOR TO-MORROW. With cargo from Canada, the Canadian National Steamships’ chartered steamer Eastmoor is is expeced to arrive at Auckland to-morrow, according to her wireless advice. The vessel will berth at Prince’s Wharf. TIROA TO GO ON SLIP.—The Gisborne Sheepfarmers’ steamer Tiroa, which arrived at Auckland during the week-end from the coast, was to go on slip at noon o-day to have her hull cleaned and painted. She comes off again to-morrow, and is announced to sail at 6 p.m. the same day for Hicks Bay and Gisborne. MAUNGANUI ON WEDNESDAY.—The Union Company’s intercolonial passenger steamer Maunganui did not leave Sydney lor Auckland until noon on Saturday, and consequently will not arrive here until Wednesday morning. She has passengers, mail and general cargo from Sydney. The Marama left Sydney as usual on Friday, and will arrive at Wellington to-morrow. NIAGARA ARRIVES.—An arrival in the stream at Auckland early this afternoon was the Union Company's Royal Mail liner, Niagara, with passengers, mails and cargo from Vancouver, via Ports.. The vessel was expected to berth at Prince’s Wharf at about two o’clock this afternoon to land her passengers and commence the discharge of her cargo. She is announced to sail again at noon to-morrow for Sydney. WAIHEMO TO-MORROW MORNING. —An expected arrival in the stream at Auckland to-morrow morning, according to her wireless advice received last week, is the Union Company’s transpacific cargo steamer Waihemo. The vessel berths at Queen’s Wharf, and after putting out the local portion of her Pacific Coast cargo, sails for Wellington, Melbourne and Sydney to complete. ROTORUA ARRIVES.—With passengers, mails and cargo from London, the New Zealand Shipping Company’s liner Rotorua arrived in the stream at Auckland early yesterday morning and berthed later at Queen’s Wharf. The vessel left Southampton on October 26 and the 36S passengers enjoyed a good trip, which was uneventful throughout. Captain J. L. 8.. CANOPUS ARRIVED.—An arrival at Auckland yesterday afternoon from Westport, as the collier Canopus. The vessel is expected to complete discharge. to-morrow when she will sail on the return trip to Westport. DANYBRYN TO SAIL.—The steamer Danybryn. now unloading phosphates from Ocean Island at King’s Wharf, is expected to complete discharge on AA'ednesday. She will then dock at Calliope to have her hull cleaned and painted, and on Thursday is to sail for Westport for bunkers. REMUERA LEFT MADEIRA.—F.n route from London and Southampton to AVellington the New Zealand Shipping Company's steamer Kemuera sailed from Madeira on Friday. The vessel, with passengers, mail and general cargo, is due at Wellington on December 29, and at Auckland for discharge on January NORDHVAL TO-MORROW NIGHT.Under charter to he Union Company, the i motor-ship Nordh\*al, with case oil and general cargo from Pacific Coast, Canadian and American ports, is expected to j arrive at Auckland from San Francisco at mid-night to-morrow. After discharge here the vessel will go to Melbourne and Sydney to complete unloading. LORN ASTON IN STREAM.—An arrival at Auckland yesterday was the steamer Lornaston with a cargo of phosphates from Nauru Island. The vessel anchored in the stream, and so heavy is the demand on equipment for handling phosphates that she will not berth until Wednesday. She will then take the Danybryn’s berth at King's AVharf. Henderson and Macfarlane, Limited, are the local agents. TOFU A SAILS.—A departure from Auckland shortly after eleven o’clock this morning was the Union Company's Island passenger steamer Tofua, for Fiji, Tonga and Samoa.
