TAKAPUNA JOCKEY CLUB’S SPRING MEETING. —The Takapuna Plate was won by The Lover, who is raced by the trustees of the late Mr. Hugo Friedlander. Dr. Arthur Friedlander. on behalf of the trustees, received the Gold Cup from the Hon. E. W. Alison, M.L.C. McTavish, who rode the winner, is standing beside the Hon. E. W. Alison. He received a gold-mounted whip for his win.
