THE WITCH AND HER MAGIC CAT

rPHIS is great fun! Cut out the witch on her broomstick, and her magic cat. Then get a piece of stiff white paper—drawing paper will do—and paste the witch on it. When it is pressed flat and quite dry, hold it against a window-pane with the back of the picture toward you. and having put some paste on the black side of the cat. paste it sitting on the end of the broom. You will be able to see where to paste it because the light will shine through and show' up the picture. Now with a pin prick out holes where the cat’s eyes are to come. Of course, the result will be that everyone to whom you show the picture will see only the witch, till you hold it up to the light, wTien it will seem as though the cat has just appeared. It is like magic!
