A HUDSON BAY TRADING POST

One of the most perfect northern settings ever constructed for motion picture work was recently built at the Metro-Gold wy il-Mayer studios for Luc-ien Hubbard’s screen version of the famous musical play, "Rose Marie ” in which Joan Crawford and James Murray play the principal roles. The settings, which include a street more than a block long, is a replica of one of the famous Hudson Bay trading posts in Xorth-western Canada, built seventy'-five years ago, but still devoted to the same use for whicli it was originally built. The supporting oast in "Rose Marie is particularly talented and includes House Peters, Creighton Hale. Gibson Gowland, l.ionel Belmore, Polly Moran and George Cooper. T -
