PRESENTATION AT WAIUKU
A number of members of the Star of Waiuku and the Lily of Rebekali Lodges held a farewell social to Mr. and Mrs. J. H. Wright, in the Oddfellows’ Hall. Waiuku, on Thursday evening. Several members of Loyal Waiuku Lodge, M.U., were also present. In making a presentation of a past grand’s collar to Bro. J. H. Wright, on behalf of the male lodge, Past Grand Bro. A. M. Barriball referred to the splendid work done for the order by Bro. Wright during his association with the lodge, and wished both him and his wife every success and happiness in their new sphere. Past Grand Sister R. James, on behalf of the Rebekah Lodge, presented Sister Wright with a handsome bronze vase. .Both the recipients returned thanks for the presents and for the good wishes extended to them.
