LANG CHARGES UNTRUE
SAVINGS BANK METHODS “NOT TITTLE OF EVIDENCE” SYDNEY, Thursday. Mr. Justice Edwards, the Royal Commissioner who inquired into the allegations made by the Leader of the Opposition, Mr. J..,T. Lang, in the New South Wales Parliament, against the Savings Bank administration and its solicitors, Messrs. Tress and Cocks, who handle the advances for homes and business, has reported. 'He finds that all Mr. Lang’s charges were untrue, and says there was not a tittle of evidence to support any one of the allegations. The commissioner says there was nothing to suggest that Messrs. Tress and COcks had dealt with second mortgages, or that they had transgressed the highest traditions of the legal profession.
