YACHTING ON MANUKAU
CRUISING RACES TO-MORROW Cruising races to Cornwallis for yachts and launches will be held tomorrow by tho Manukau Cruising Club. The launch race will be held conjointly with the Manukau Yacht Club. The yachts will start at 2.30 p.m. and the launches at 2.45, ij? each instance the start being a flying one. Following are the entries and handicaps:— Yachts—Sylvia, on wind scr, off wind scr; Aoraa, scr and scr; Myra, scr and scr; Champagne, 6m and 4m; Walapu, 7m and 4m; Sea Gnome, 9m and sra; Sea Horse, 11m and 7m; Hetty, 16m and 14m; Sea v^ on ’ an< * 22m; Mis tm a id, 23m and 22m. Launches—Miss Clevedon, scr; Surprise, 25m; Pal o’ Mine, 25m; Dione, 25Jm; Rainbow, 29Jm; Regal, 40m; Hinemoa, 42m; Almora, 43im; Katui. 44Jm; Mermaid, 43im; Wanderer, 52m; Salome, 56im; Mavis, 60m; Vera, 61m; Cremorne, 61m; Tawera, 71im; Ramona, 70m; Grace, 71£m; Imp, 73m; Rover, withheld. Courses are:— Yachts—Start between end of main wharf and flags on jetty, thence between the red buoy and Colson’s beacon, thence between the red and black buoys off the Horn, thence between soldier and black buoys off Blockhouse Bay, thence between the beacon and first black buoy, thence between the soldier and black buoys off French Bay, thence straight to Cornwallis and finish between the soldier buoy and mark in line with Mr. lnglis's shack. Launches—Start between end of main wharf and flags on jetty, thence between the red buoy and Colson’s beacon, thence keep strictly to the channel, finish between the soldier buoy off Cornwallis and mark in line w ith Mr. Inglis’s shack.
