Bowley at Eden Park

TO-MORROW’S A.C.A. CRICKET

Anthony Back: Rowntree Unavailable

THE \ .M.C.A.-Eden match on Xo. 1 wicket at Eden Park will be the chief of the fourth series of the A.C.A.’s senior A grade competition, commencing to-morrow. Parnell meets its old rivals, Grafton, on the Xo. 2 area.

The competition is at an exceedingly interesting stage with Ponsonby holding a one-point lead over Eden, Varsity and North Shore. The conclusion of the matches beginning to-morrow will no doubt sort things out considerably. Eden should not meet very serious opposition in Y.M.C.A., unless Bowley comes to light as he did against Shore last week. Eden will be fielding its usual team to-morrow. Rowntree will not be playing for crafion to-morrow, owing, so it is understood, to a slight injuriy, and the fact that the Grafton skipper has to go South next week on business. Parnell gave a very convincing display Against Varsity last week, and brought up t< normal strength again to-morrow by the return ot Arnold Anthony, has been absent on business for a month, the side should be able to make Grafton step out all the way. Varsity meets North Shore at Devonport and as both sides will be up to full strength, a close match should result. Don Webb, the miniature trundler, who did so well in the long vacation last season, will again be included in the Shore ranks. Ponsonby and United Suburbs will fipht out the issue on No. 3 wicket at Eden Park. Both teams will be at full strength for the encounter. the teams list The following teams have been chosen for to-morrow's matches: Senior A Grade Ponsonby-N. C Snedden, S. G Smith, F S. Taylor, T.
