WEST END ROWING
Trial fours were rowed by the West End Rowing Club last evening for the Mrs. John Clark Memorial tSbield. The new course from the Victoria Cruising Club shed to the Shelly Reach Baths was used, McFarlane gaining another w-ell-merited victory. The crews were:—E. M. Taylor (str), L. K. McDonald, C. R. Parvin. A. Laurence (bow); N. McFarlane (str). K. Woodside, W. H. Conway, F. Baker (bow); F. Conway (str), V. Hogan, W. Parsons, F. Johnson (bow). First heat: McFarlane beat Taylor by half a length. Final; McFarlane beat F. Conway by a length.
