Obituary

MR. ROBERT MONDS Another old colonist and a wellknown Parnell identity. Mr. Robert Monds, died yesterday at his home in Logan Terrace, at the age of 80. After arriving in Auckland in tho Dover Castle from Belfast 52 years Mr Monds was engaged in bush contracting on the Great Barrier for soni • years, but later he entered tho service of the Public Works Department, serving until he retired on superannuation 15 years ago. He was an enthusiastic yachtsman. Mr. Mond is survived by an adult family.
