ILL-TREATMENT OF TURKS INCREASES TENSION

The Constantinople correspondent of the “Daily News” states that Turco-Greek tension is increasing, over Greece’s alleged i! 1-treatment of the Turks in Western Thrace. Violent criticisms are appearing in Turkish newspapers, some predicting a rupture iu relations between Turkey and Greece. Mediation by Italy Is believed to be imminent.
