PLUNKET SOCIETY GIFTS
At the monthly meeting of the Plunket Society, it was reported that, among the recent visitors to the Karitane Hospital and Plunket headquarters, were Lady Myers and her family. They were keenly interested in the work at both institutions, and gave a carpet to be used in refurnishing the living-room at the hospital. In response to an appeal by the president, Mrs. W. H. Parkes, at the annual meeting. Mr. E. F. Warren, as trustee in the Hunter. Shaw estate, has given £3OO to begin an endowment fund to assist the society’s finances.
