PROTEST AGAINST ORDERS-IN-COUNCIL

(From Our Own Correspondent) MARTGN. To-day. The Marton Borough Council last evening decided to protest emphatically against the omnibus -regulations and the pernicious interference of the Government, who by Order-in-Council included Alarton in the omnibus district. Local buses are now compelled to charge 2s Id from the railway station, instead of 6d as formerly, and have been forced off the road. A public meeting is also to be called to discuss the question.
