LONDON MARKETS HIGH COMMISSIONER’S CABLE The Department of Agriculture has received the following cablegram dated November 24 from the High Commissioner for New Zealand in London:— Tallow.—No auction this week owing to lack of fresh arrivalg. Demand very quiet and prices unchanged to slightly easier. Hemp.—Manila: Market better in tone and more trade interest shown. Closing value for December-February shipments, *‘J” grade, £35. Sisal: Market firm with buyers at £39 for No. 1 in any position until April-June shipment, and No. 2. £36 15s. New Zealand: Market ujit hanged. Small business doing, principally afloat, at high points. £33 15s; fair, €3O 10s; common, £29. Stocks in Great Britain on October 31, 31 tons, as against 88 tons at the same time last year.
