New Zealand and River Plate have keen buyers at 32s 6d. New Zealand ljoan and Mercantile, both ordinary and preference stocks, are keenly watched, no sellers quoting. + * * Coal shares remain quiet. Hikurangi ordinary and preference are sought after; Pukemiro have sellers at 6Ss, no buyers appearing. Renown, both ordinary and preference, have steady buyers at market rates. Taupiri preference are also in demand.
