AUCKLANDER FLOORED Press Association WELLINGTON, Monday. In a 15-round welter-weight rrofessional boxing contest to-night, before a crowded house at the Town Hall, the Australian, Tommy Fairhall, outpointed Keg Trowern, of Aucltland. The New Zealander dominated the fight until the seventh round, when Fairhall put Trowern down for nine. On rising he was again floored by a right to the head, and took the count to eight. A third time the New Zealander hit the canvas, but the gong stopped the count at four. The eleventh round was a repetitition of the eighth, Trowern being sent down three times. This round took a lot of steam out of the New Zealander, and enabled the Australian to secure the verdict.
