ALL PEKING ENJOYS FREE TRAIN RIDES

The residents of Peking are enjoying free tram rides as a result of the refusal of conductors to collect fares until the company assures protection of its employees from the native soldiers, who beat up the conductors whenever the fares are asked for. The entire populace is joy-riding.
