The Mayor, Mr. Frank Ciot- I shaw, announced a bequest of p to the Jubilee Institute for the Btal > A labouring man, known as ; Tigi: - Hall, of Herbert, whose death occamt recently, had accumulated a fortu? of £ 13,000. In his will he left £t«<i each to the Salvation Army, B&norta Homes, Oamaru Hospital, Jubilee Institute for the Blind, and the Otapopo Church. The bequests, with intawt now represent £2,300.
