The keenest interest is being maintained by Sun readers to anticipate th© handicapper’s allocations in the Auckland Cup, to be decided at Ellerslie on Boxing Day. Another half dozen lists appear to-day, and the final series will be published on Monday and Tuesday, for it is considered that the object in view at the outset has been achieved. Those enthusiasts who have given 'Jfeir time to undertake the task have no doubt been rewarded by seeing fbe results of their work published alongside other attempts, and have fhus been given the opportunity of making a comparison. It must be obvious now that the framing of a handicap is not so easy as it looks at first sight, and if sportsmen have learned to appreciate this point, then the space given to this “weight-judg-,n *’* has not been entirely wasted.
