Shayle Gardner Plays Lead in Tzco Pictures WORK IN BERLIN (Australian and N.Z Press Association) Reed. 9.11 a.m. LONDON*. Thursday. The New Zealander Shayle Gardner,
has returned from Berlin, where he played the lead in two films. Eve Gray was in one of them. Shayle Gardner is an Aucklander. He was a, major in the New Zealand Rifle Brigade, serving in the Intelligence Department. He has acted with many of London's greatest stars, including Miss Irene Vanbrugh. Recently he has. been appearing in Mr. Hex Ingram’s studios on the Riviera in character work.
