Upton returned by the Limited this morning from a visit to Wellington. jlr. T. Julian, who has been visiting Wellington, returned to Auckland this morning on the Limited. Mr. J- K. Lowe, district engineer. j*eW Zealand Railways, returned from Wellington this morning by the Limited. Dr. J. B. Condliffe Research Director Of the Institute of Pacific Relations, Honolulu, Intends paying a visit to New Zealand early next year. Mr. H. H. Sterling, general manager of railways, arrived from the South by the Limited this morning. He will return to Wellington this evening. Captain R. J. D. Davis, N.Z.S.C., chief instructor at the Trentham small;irms school, is visiting Auckland for the purpose of making the annual inspection of rifle ranges. Professor H. H. Corbin and Mr. R. O’Shea, registrar of the Auckland University, will leave on Monday on a tour of the University College endowments at Htmtly and Karamu. Mr. T. R- Toovey, principal assistant to the general manager of the Port of London Authority, will tour New .Zealand and Australia in 1929, to address Chambers of Commerce and business communities.
