PASCOE On his retiring from the presidency of the Auckland Bowling Centre, Mr. J. Pascoe was entertained at a social evening at Devonport last evening. In recognition of his services to bowling he was presented with an album containing photo- ' graphs of members and ex-members of of the association. Among those present last evening were Messrs. J. W. Hardley and J. M. Thomson, who were members of the New Zealand touring team which recently returned to the Dominion, and five ex-mem-bers of the Auckland Centre. Mr. S. Coldicutt, president of the Auckland Centre, eulogised the work done by Mr. Pascoe, and was supported by Mr. C. W. Garrard, on behalf of exmembers of the centre, and Mr. A. B. Baxter, on behalf of country clubs. During the evening Messrs. Hardley and Thomson gave interesting experiences of their trip abroad.
