Mr. Stacpoole's romance “The Blue Lagoon" lias a world-wide popularity. It has been filmed and has served as a basis for dozens of stories by imitative writers. He has written, also. "The Crimson Azaleas,” “Pools of Silence," "Under Blue Skies" and “The Gates of Morning." The title of the new story is “ Vanderdecken ” and readers will find that it is in the best Stacpoole manner.
