MEDICAL FILM SHOWN

MORE THAN 200 PRESENT SCREENING TO AMBULANCE BRIGADE When a medical film was shown last evening at the St. John Ambulance Brigade headquarters, Rutland Street, there was an audience of over 200 brigade members and friends. The film was specially lent by the Auckland branch of the British Medical Association. The commissioner, Mr. C. J. Tunks, presided. Valuable facts concerning the heart, circulation, respiration and hearing were explained by the film, which is part of the Dr. Lawson Memorial Film Library. Mr. Douglas Robb made a commentary on various points shown by the film.

Mr. Tunks statedT the brigade’s thanks to Mr. Robb, the Medical Association and Mr. Phil Hayward, who directed the screening.
